About Utah Liberty Alliance

Utah Liberty Alliance is an anarchist collective that seeks to be a hub for anti-state and anti-capitalist media in Utah.

Vision

Utah Liberty Alliance envisions a free society wherein human interactions are voluntary, and cooperation and free exchange leads to justice and prosperity. This necessarily entails the elimination of the State and all other institutions of coercion (anarchism). We may be accused of being utopian, but we recognize that problems common to humanity – crime, poverty and disease – will still exist in a free society; however, we desire to be free to voluntarily pursue and support solutions to these problems, as opposed to having solutions thrust upon us by the State. Every individual has the right to self-defense and can delegate that right voluntarily to others to exercise on his behalf, as well as work cooperatively with communities to provide the service as a mutual benefit. The services “provided” by the State can be provided instead by communities, associations and cooperatives.

Mission

Utah Liberty Alliance seeks to bring about a free society at a local level by raising awareness of issues that affect personal liberty, changing attitudes about these issues, and promoting strategic action. We do this through engaging in investigative citizen journalism and counter-surveillance, communicating with Utahns in various media, and coordinating voluntary action plans and projects that align with our mission.
